Considering tropical-extratropical cloudband activity for the the Southern Hemisphere as a whole,
this season continues to follow climatology closely. However, this hides the fact of weaker activity in the southern African sector
during Nov/Dec offset by heighted activity over South America in December. In January, these two sectors have swapped with suppressed
activity over South America but climatological activity over southern Africa.
